On the day after his 38th birthday, Johnny was senselessly shot as he walked up the driveway of a friend’s home. Johnny had been a Code Enforcement and Mobile Assistance Officer in CA. He was always helping others and at the time of his death, caring for three young boys.
Staying true to his generous spirit, Johnny’s mother donated his corneas and tissues. She also produced a local cable TV program on violence in their community and possible solutions. Through these efforts, Johnny has touched many people’s lives long after his was taken.
